Andre VII

Andre VII is the production alias of Mexican DJ and producer André Fernández, who operates from Mexico City. Since launching his recording career in 2019, he has established himself as a versatile artist working across multiple electronic genres. Fernández founded the electronic label Platino Records and maintains involvement in Mexico City's club scene through his ownership and booking of Bar Oriente and Xaman. He also serves as curator for Sonar Mexico events in the capital.

Andre VII's sound spans indie dance, deep house, afro house, and breakbeat territories, with releases appearing on respected European imprints including Kompakt, Sincopat, and Iptamenos Discos. His productions blend melodic techno sensibilities with nu disco elements, creating tracks that work across different dance floor contexts. The range from deep house's lower tempos to the more energetic breaks and afro house rhythms demonstrates his adaptability as a producer, with his five releases since 2019 showing consistent evolution across these interconnected genres.
