Ane Brun

Ane Brun is a Norwegian singer-songwriter born Ane Brunvoll on March 10, 1976 in Molde, Norway, who now lives in Stockholm, Sweden. She co-founded the independent record label DetErMine Records in 2002 with The Tiny's Ellekari Larsson and Wendy McNeill, and currently operates her own label Balloon Ranger Recordings. Brun began releasing electronic music in 2014, with her first release appearing on April 26, 2014, marking a departure from her established career in alternative rock and art pop that began in the early 2000s.

Her electronic output spans deep house, tech house, melodic house & techno, and electronica across five releases on prominent labels including Anjunadeep, Anjunabeats, and These Eyes. Brun's electronic productions blend her songwriting background with club-ready arrangements, typically featuring melodic elements that reflect her transition from indie folk into dance music territory.
