Antic

Antic is a Dutch producer duo consisting of Randy Joubert and Freek Fontein. The pair has operated under several aliases including Direct Drive, Interstate 69, and Delusion throughout their career. They began releasing music on Anjunadeep in 2018, with their first release appearing in February of that year.

Antic produces melodic house and techno alongside deep house and electronica tracks. Their sound sits within the mid-tempo range typical of Anjunadeep's catalog, focusing on melodic progressions and atmospheric textures. The duo has released five records on Anjunadeep between 2018 and 2024, maintaining a consistent output on the label. Their productions demonstrate a shift from their earlier trance and hard trance work under previous aliases toward the more restrained, melody-driven approach that defines contemporary deep house and melodic techno.
