Anton Zap

Anton Zap is the stage name of Anton Barbashev, a DJ and producer from Moscow who began releasing music in 2010. He operates under the aliases SH2000 and Anton Barbashev, and founded two labels: Ethereal Sound and Volking Music. Over his career spanning more than a decade, he has released seven tracks, with his most recent output appearing in 2021.

His sound encompasses deep house, tech house, and minimal deep tech, with releases appearing on the Pleasure Zone label. Anton Zap's productions lean toward the deeper end of the house spectrum, incorporating minimal techno elements that create atmospheric, groove-oriented tracks suitable for extended DJ sets. His work demonstrates a consistent focus on underground electronic music aesthetics, maintaining relevance in Moscow's electronic scene while building an international presence through digital platforms.
