Architectural is the project of Spanish producer Juan Rico, who operates from Spain and began releasing music under this alias in 2011. Rico also records under the aliases Reeko and Kevin Pearson, and runs his own Architectural label alongside releasing on other imprints. His first Architectural release appeared in August 2011, establishing a catalog that spans 24 releases across multiple labels including Non Series, Semantica Records, Turbo Recordings, and ellum.

Architectural produces techno ranging from peak time driving tracks to raw, deep, and hypnotic compositions, incorporating elements of minimal techno, ambient techno, and dub techno. His sound encompasses both the harder edge of peak time techno suitable for main room moments and deeper, more introspective tracks that work in intimate club settings. Rico's releases on respected techno labels like Semantica Records and ellum demonstrate his ability to craft both floor-focused tracks and more experimental electronica, with his minimal and deep tech productions offering DJs versatile options across different parts of a set.
