Arp Frique

Arp Frique is a Rotterdam-based group fronted by producer and musician Niels Nieuborg. The project name references both ARP synthesizers and Chic's "Le Freak," reflecting the artist's commitment to analog vintage machines and disco music. Arp Frique began releasing music in 2018 with their debut on Rush Hour Records.

The group creates house and nu disco tracks that blend deep house rhythms with indie dance sensibilities and classic electro elements. Their releases appear on Dutch labels Rush Hour and Rebirth, two imprints known for quality underground dance music. Arp Frique's sound centers on analog synthesizer work and draws from global disco traditions, delivering danceable grooves that work equally well in intimate club settings and larger dance floors. Their catalog spans from 2018 through 2026, showing consistent output across the house and disco spectrum.
