Arthur Baker

Arthur Henry Baker operates from Boston, Massachusetts, where he began DJing in the mid-1970s playing early disco and soul music alongside local DJs John Luongo and Jimmy Stuard. Born on April 22, 1955, Baker runs his own label Baked Recordings and has worked extensively as a producer and remixer with artists including Afrika Bambaataa, Planet Patrol, and New Order. He records under several aliases including Criminal Element Orchestra and Pleasure Pump.
