Athina

Athina, the German DJ and producer also known as Tina Charamlampidis, began releasing electronic music in October 2013. Born in Frankfurt am Main to Greek parents, she studied jazz double bass in Weimar and Leipzig, collaborating with musicians including Johannes Bigge, Moritz Baumgärtner, and Luise Volkmann before transitioning into electronic music production.

Athina produces deep house and melodic house & techno, with occasional ventures into tech house and peak time techno across 23 releases. She has appeared on labels including Crossfrontier Audio, Jannowitz Records, Light My Fire, and Time Has Changed Records, with her most recent release scheduled for August 2025 on Eklektisch. Her tracks maintain the melodic sensibilities of her jazz background while delivering the driving energy expected in contemporary house music, making her releases suitable for both deeper moments and main room settings.
