Athlete Whippet

Athlete Whippet is a London and Berlin-based duo comprising Robin Paul Braum and Aviram Barath, who also operate under the alias Arpy Brown. The group consists of Bunki and Ballerino, who founded the Squareglass label. They began releasing music in 2018, with their first release appearing on May 25th of that year.

The duo produces deep house and techno tracks that span from groove-focused house to peak time driving techno. Their five releases have appeared exclusively on Toy Tonics, covering a range from electronic and deep house productions to harder-edged techno designed for peak hours. Their sound encompasses both the deeper, more contemplative side of house music and the driving energy of peak time techno sets, with their most recent release dropping in November 2023.
