Atmos

Atmos is the progressive trance and house project of Tomasz Balicki, a Polish-born producer based in Sweden who began his career in 1973. Balicki operates under several aliases including The Mato Project and Congovox, establishing himself within the progressive psytrance scene. The project maintains an active online presence through atmotech.com and releases music across multiple electronic genres.

Atmos produces music spanning techno, deep dubstep, Afro house, dance electro pop, and deep house, with releases appearing on labels including Shamanic Tales, Curation Best Of 2025, and Tip Records. The project's output demonstrates significant genre diversity, moving from peak time driving techno to 140 BPM dubstep and grime influences, alongside deeper house productions. Recent releases between February 2025 and February 2026 show continued activity across this broad stylistic range, making Atmos suitable for DJs working across multiple electronic music contexts rather than a single specialized genre.
