Atom TM

Atom TM is German electronic musician Uwe Schmidt, originally from Frankfurt am Main and now based in Santiago de Chile. Schmidt began his career in 1968 and operates under multiple aliases including Atom Heart, Dropshadow Disease, and Naturalist. He runs his own label Rather Interesting and operates design company Linger Decoree alongside his musical output.

His sound spans electronica, raw techno, and bass-heavy club music, with releases appearing on labels including Raster, Spazio Disponibile, Recognition, and Sonic Groove since 2021. Schmidt's productions incorporate experimental and glitch elements into deep, hypnotic techno frameworks, drawing from his extensive background in intelligent dance music. His releases demonstrate a range from introspective electronica to harder-edged club tracks, positioning his work within both underground techno circles and more experimental electronic music contexts.
