Aurora Halal

Aurora Halal operates from Brooklyn as both a producer and visual artist, launching her electronic music career in 2014 with her first release on March 30th. She runs Mutual Dreaming Recordings, her own imprint that serves as the primary outlet for her productions. Beyond releasing music, Halal created Brooklyn's Mutual Dreaming party series and founded the Sustain-Release festival, establishing herself as both an artist and event curator in the New York underground scene.

Her sound spans techno, electro, and house territories, with releases exclusively appearing on her Mutual Dreaming Recordings label since 2014. Halal's productions incorporate peak time driving techno alongside classic Detroit electro influences and ambient techno elements, creating tracks that work equally in warehouse settings and more intimate club environments. Her catalog includes five releases spanning from 2014 to 2020, with her approach drawing from outsider house sensibilities while maintaining the driving energy essential for dancefloor functionality.
