Autarkic

Autarkic is the project of Nadav Spiegel, a Tel Aviv-born musician who began releasing music in 2016. Since launching his career, he has issued 10 releases across notable labels including Life And Death, Turbo Recordings, Disco Halal, DGTL, and Rebirth. Spiegel performs live as a solo act using samplers and synthesizers, drawing from his extensive sample collection for both studio productions and performances.

His sound spans indie dance, house, peak-time techno, minimal deep tech, and nu disco, with releases that range from driving dancefloor cuts to more introspective minimal productions. The music frequently combines filthy, intensive elements with emotional depth, creating tracks that work across different contexts from underground club nights to festival peak times. His label choices reflect his versatility, from the art-leaning Life And Death to the harder-edged Turbo Recordings, with consistent output through 2024 demonstrating his continued evolution within electronic music's crossover territories.
