Avatism

Avatism is the project of Italian producer Thomas Feriero, who began releasing electronic music in 2010. Feriero also records under the aliases Maenad Veyl and The Sarcasm Ensemble, and forms the collaborative project CW/A with Clockwork. His debut release appeared on Vakant in December 2010, marking the start of a productive eight-year run that yielded 16 releases across multiple imprints.

Avatism's sound spans techno, tech house, and deep house territories, with releases appearing on respected labels including Vakant, Nonplus Records, and Parachute. His productions range from peak-time driving techno to more subdued deep house explorations, often incorporating electronica elements that add textural depth to dancefloor-focused tracks. The project remained active through 2018, with Feriero's final Avatism release appearing in November of that year on his established network of underground electronic labels.
