Baasmal is a group consisting of three producers: Reezak from Morocco, Fahd from Morocco, and RazV from the United States. The trio formed in 2019 and released their first material in October of that year. Between 2019 and 2021, the group released five tracks across multiple labels including Conceptual and Looking Back.
Baasmal produces minimal and deep tech electronic music, delivering darker, stripped-down productions that emphasize groove and subtle progression. Their releases on Conceptual and Looking Back showcase a consistent approach to underground minimal techno, with tracks that maintain steady momentum without excessive ornamentation. The group's output demonstrates a preference for hypnotic, club-focused material that works within the 120-128 BPM range typical of minimal and deep tech genres.
