Barbara Tucker is a vocalist from Brooklyn who began her recording career in 1967. She has achieved six number one hits on the US Hot Dance Club Songs chart and has worked extensively with production team Masters At Work on tracks including "Deep Inside," "Beautiful People," "I Get Lifted," "Stay Together," and "Stop Playing With My Mind." Tucker has also collaborated with David Guetta and Blaze throughout her career in dance music.
Tucker's sound spans house, tech house, afro house, melodic house and techno, and breaks. She releases music on Armada Music, Armada Music Albums, MIlk & Sugar, Armada Subjekt, and unquantize, with her electronic releases dating from 2013 to present. Her vocal style draws from her soul music background while adapting to contemporary dance music productions across multiple house subgenres.
