Bedouin

Bedouin is a Brooklyn-based duo that began releasing music in 2014. The group consists of Tamer Malki and Rami Abousabe, who have established themselves through releases on Human By Default, their own imprint, alongside appearances on Crosstown Rebels, Cercle Records, Cityfox, and All Day I Dream. With 39 releases spanning over a decade, they maintain an active presence in the underground dance music circuit.

Their sound centers on melodic house and techno with deep house influences, incorporating Afro house elements that reflect their Middle Eastern heritage. Bedouin's productions typically range from 120-126 BPM, featuring organic percussion, hypnotic basslines, and Eastern-inspired melodies that work equally well in intimate club settings and festival environments. Their releases on Human By Default showcase their more experimental approach, while their Crosstown Rebels material leans toward peak-time dancefloor functionality.
