Beltek

Beltek is Martin Bijelić, a Slovenian electronic music producer who began releasing music in 2009. He gained recognition in 2007 when he won Pete Tong's producer contest with his track "Copacabana," which brought attention from the Slovenian EDM scene. Following this success, Umek contacted Bijelić to collaborate, resulting in two joint EPs. He also produces under the aliases Martin Bijelic and Martin Contra.

His sound spans techno, tech house, progressive house, and minimal deep tech, with tracks appearing on major compilations including Tiësto's "In Search Of Sunrise 7 Asia" in 2008 featuring "Kenta" and Richard Durand's "In Search Of Sunrise 8 South Africa" in 2010 with "Par." Beltek's music operates across the peak time driving techno spectrum while incorporating progressive house elements, making his tracks suitable for both underground techno sets and progressive trance compilations. His release activity peaked between 2009 and 2011, with five documented releases during this period.
