Beneath Usual

Beneath Usual is the project of Arnaud Levasseur, a producer and DJ based in Nice, France. Levasseur operates under multiple aliases including Noon and Concept, and serves as label manager of SFX Recordings while running his own mastering and sound design service, SFX Mastering. He launched the Beneath Usual project in 2017 with his first release appearing on December 28th of that year.

Beneath Usual produces deep house, tech house, and minimal techno with dub influences, releasing music on labels including Cyclic Records, Microdrive, and La Menace Records. His sound spans minimal deep tech and funky house territories, designed specifically for underground electronic music audiences. The project has maintained consistent output with seven releases tracked through 2025, focusing on minimalist electronic compositions that blend deep house grooves with dub techno elements.
