Betoko is Alberto Cohen, a Mexican-born producer who relocated to London in 2002 after signing to AMI/Sony ATV Music Publishing. Born in 1979, he also operates under the alias Beto Cohen and began releasing electronic music in 2010. Over his career spanning from 2010 to 2019, he has accumulated 103 releases across the underground electronic music circuit.

His sound encompasses deep house, tech house, progressive house, and melodic house & techno, with releases appearing on respected labels including Einmusika Recordings, Dear Deer, Bunny Tiger Dubs, Hedonism Music, and Time Has Changed Records. Betoko's productions typically favor the deeper, more melodic end of the house spectrum, making his tracks suitable for both peak-time and warm-up sets.
