Biri

Biri is Portuguese DJ and producer Vitor Hugo, who relocated to London in 2002 and began releasing electronic music in 2010. He co-founded the every1sound system collective with collaborators Phil, Danny, and Tick, establishing himself within London's underground techno scene. Hugo has maintained consistent output over more than a decade, with 18 releases spanning from January 2010 to April 2023.

Biri's productions range from peak time driving techno to deep house and tech house, with releases appearing on Black Crow Recordings, Non Series, Jaunt Records, Balans Records, and Counterchange Recordings. His sound encompasses both raw, hypnotic techno territories and more accessible tech house grooves, positioning his music for both underground dancefloors and peak-time club sets. The breadth of his genre output and label placements indicates an artist comfortable moving between different tempos and energy levels within the house and techno spectrum.
