Black Loops

Black Loops is an Italian house producer and DJ based in Berlin, Germany, led by Riccardo Paffetti. The project began in 2011 as a duo with Gabriele Micheli, but has operated as a solo act under Paffetti's direction since 2017. Black Loops has maintained consistent output since debuting in 2013, accumulating 65 releases across various electronic music labels over more than a decade of activity.

Black Loops produces across deep house, tech house, and indie dance territories, with releases appearing on respected labels including Freerange Records, Toy Tonics, Neovinyl Recordings, Aterral, and Pets Recordings. The project's sound incorporates elements of classic electro and Detroit influences alongside contemporary house production, delivering tracks that work for both dancefloor environments and home listening. Black Loops' catalog demonstrates versatility within house music's broader spectrum, moving between the deeper, more contemplative side of the genre and its more driving, club-focused iterations depending on the release and label context.
