Black Spuma

Black Spuma is the collaborative project between Fabrizio Mammarella and Phillip Lauer, who began releasing music together in 2015. The duo has maintained a steady output with eight releases documented on Electrobuzz, spanning from their debut in October 2015 through their latest release scheduled for December 2025.

Their sound moves between indie dance, house, and nu disco territories, with releases appearing on respected labels including Permanent Vacation, International Feel Recordings, and Live At Robert Johnson. Black Spuma's productions typically deliver mid-tempo grooves that bridge the gap between dancefloor functionality and home listening appeal. Their work on International Feel and its subsidiary International Feel Recordings demonstrates their alignment with the label's sophisticated approach to disco-influenced house music, while their Permanent Vacation releases showcase their ability to craft melodic, groove-heavy tracks suited for both peak-time and after-hours sets.
