BLR

BLR is the alias of Dutch producer Leendert Wouter Bolier, better known as Leon Bolier. The veteran producer revealed the BLR project on December 9, 2016, launching a new chapter in his career that began releasing music under this moniker in June 2022. Bolier has operated under multiple aliases throughout his career, including The Boiler Room and Precursor, but BLR represents his most active contemporary output.

BLR produces techno and tech house with driving, peak-time energy, alongside melodic house and trance tracks. His 17 releases span major labels including Anjunabeats, Truesoul, Armada Music, Off The Grid, and Repopulate Mars. The project focuses on dancefloor-oriented material that bridges the gap between his trance background and contemporary techno sounds. His output on Truesoul and Off The Grid demonstrates his commitment to harder, driving techno, while releases on Anjunabeats showcase his melodic sensibilities rooted in trance production.
