Blue Hour

Luke Standing produces techno under the Blue Hour moniker, relocating from the UK to Germany before launching his eponymous label Blue Hour in late 2013. He began releasing music in 2014 and operates under several aliases including Furesshu and Esoteric. Standing runs his own imprint while also releasing material on Arsenik Records and export berlin, with 12 releases spanning from 2014 to 2026.

Blue Hour's sound encompasses peak time driving techno alongside raw, deep, and hypnotic variations of the genre. His productions range from minimal techno to ambient techno textures, with occasional forays into house and electronica. The music maintains the driving energy characteristic of contemporary German techno while incorporating deeper, more hypnotic elements that suit both peak time and after-hours sets. His releases on Blue Hour, Arsenik Records, and export berlin demonstrate a consistent focus on functional dancefloor material with atmospheric depth.
