BNZO

BNZO is the project of San Diego-based DJ and producer Benjamin Engelberg, who also operates under the aliases Ben Engelberg and Bengal. Engelberg began releasing electronic music in 2011, with his final release under the BNZO moniker appearing in July 2012.

BNZO's sound centers on tech house and deep house productions that emerged during the early 2010s underground scene. His five releases between 2011 and 2012 showcase a focus on groove-oriented house music typical of the West Coast electronic music landscape during that period. The project represents a brief but concentrated period of activity in Engelberg's production career before transitioning to other musical endeavors.
