Bob Moses

Bob Moses is a Canadian electronic duo comprised of Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance, who originally met in Vancouver, BC before forming the project in Brooklyn in 2012. The duo now operates from New York City and began releasing music in 2013, with their first documented release appearing in September of that year. Over the past decade, Bob Moses has maintained a prolific output with 27 releases across multiple major labels.

The duo creates music that spans deep house, melodic house & techno, and electronica, with occasional forays into peak time driving techno. Bob Moses releases primarily through Domino Recording Company and its subsidiary Astralwerks, while also appearing on Cercle Records and Parlophone UK. Their sound typically operates in the deeper, more melodic spectrum of house music, incorporating downtempo elements that distinguish their approach from standard club fare. The duo's catalog demonstrates an evolution from pure deep house foundations toward more contemporary melodic house & techno, positioning their music for both intimate listening environments and larger dancefloor contexts.
