BOHO

BOHO is the electronic music project of Boris Bohó, a classical cellist who transitioned into electronic music production. The artist launched the project in August 2019 with releases on Jannowitz Records, a label operated by Lars Kohl. BOHO has released 14 tracks across five years, maintaining consistent output through 2024.

BOHO produces peak time driving techno and melodic house & techno, with releases spanning Octopus Records, Yoshitoshi Recordings, KATERMUKKE, and Senso Sounds. The project incorporates minimal and deep tech elements alongside indie dance influences, creating tracks suitable for both peak hour sets and deeper moments on the dancefloor. BOHO's classical background influences the melodic approach to techno production, resulting in compositions that balance driving rhythms with harmonic sophistication across the 120-135 BPM range.
