Bonaparte

Bonaparte is a Berlin-based group founded by Swiss musician Tobias Jundt in 2006. The project began as an indie punk band operating between Berlin and Barcelona, with Jundt serving as the primary member. Bonaparte transitioned into electronic music production in 2022, marking a significant departure from their earlier indie rock and dance-punk origins.

Bonaparte's electronic output spans deep house, tech house, and minimal deep tech territories, with releases appearing on respected labels including Permanent Vacation and Shall Not Fade. Their sound operates within house music's deeper spectrums, incorporating both driving tech house rhythms and more introspective minimal arrangements. Since beginning electronic releases in April 2022, Bonaparte has maintained consistent output with 11 releases, demonstrating a focused approach to club-oriented production that draws from their background in electronic rock while embracing contemporary house and techno frameworks.
