Sean Nicholson, known as Boogs and previously as Shan Boogie, operates as a DJ and producer from New York City. Nicholson doubles as an award-winning filmmaker, having directed the documentary "Rubble Kings" about 1970s New York gang culture and its influence on hip hop's emergence. He began releasing electronic music in April 2025, establishing himself across multiple dance music genres within his first year of production.
Boogs delivers house-focused productions spanning deep house, tech house, and minimal deep tech territories, while also incorporating UK garage and bassline elements.
