Booz is the alias of Alain Baumgarten, a German techno producer and DJ based in Hamburg. He began releasing electronic music in 2011, marking his debut with tracks on labels including Affekt Recordings and Edit Select. The Hamburg-based artist has maintained consistent output over more than a decade, accumulating 17 releases across multiple imprints.

Booz produces primarily peak time and driving techno alongside raw, deep, and hypnotic variations of the genre. His releases appear on respected labels such as Affekt Recordings, Edit Select, Globox, ANAOH, and Prophet, establishing his presence in the underground techno circuit. The producer also explores tech house and electronica territories, including downtempo compositions that demonstrate range beyond dancefloor-focused material. His sound maintains the driving energy characteristic of German techno while incorporating the deeper, more hypnotic elements that define contemporary underground dance music.
