Border One

Border One is the alias of Belgian techno producer and DJ Steven Petit, based in Ghent. He launched his career in 2015 with his first release appearing in August of that year, and has since built a catalog of 20 releases spanning nearly a decade of production work through 2025.

His sound moves fluidly between raw and deep hypnotic techno alongside peak time driving material, though he also ventures into afro house, deep house, and jackin house territories. Border One releases primarily on Token, SK_Eleven, Wolfskuil Records, and Escapism, labels that reflect his range from underground techno to more groove-oriented house music. His productions lean toward the darker, more hypnotic end of the techno spectrum while maintaining enough rhythmic drive for peak time sets, making his tracks suitable for both deeper moments and main floor deployment.
