Boris Dlugosch

Boris Dlugosch is a Hamburg-based DJ and producer who has been active in electronic music since the late 1980s. Born in 1968, he served as a resident DJ at Hamburg's Front club and established himself as a pioneer of German house music culture. Dlugosch operates under aliases including Deep Course and MC Valium, and works as label manager at Kontor New Media. He collaborated with Michi Lange on the D.Y.M.K. project, producing tracks that pay tribute to Marques Wyatt's Does Your Mama Know club night in Los Angeles.

Dlugosch's sound spans deep house, house, tech house, indie dance, and nu disco territories. His releases appear on prominent labels including Defected, Peppermint Jam, Suara, Running Back, and Columbia (Sony). With 16 releases documented between 2012 and 2026, his productions deliver the warm, groovy aesthetics typical of German house music, balancing dancefloor functionality with deeper, more introspective moments.
