Boulderhead is the production moniker of Henry James, a DJ and producer from South Wales who is currently based in Bristol. James began releasing music under the Boulderhead alias in May 2021, with eight releases appearing across various labels over the past four years. He also releases music under his real name Henry James.

Boulderhead's sound spans house, tech house, deep house, and afro house, with occasional forays into raw, deep, and hypnotic techno. His releases have appeared on SITU Records, Craigie Knowes, Rhythm Section International, and Limousine Dream, establishing him within Bristol's electronic music network and beyond. The tracks lean toward mid-tempo grooves with deep, hypnotic elements that work equally well in intimate club settings and larger dance floors. His most recent release landed in April 2025, showing consistent output across multiple respected underground labels.
