Bozart

From the Minnesota tundra comes Bozart, an instrumental rock duo from Minneapolis. Formed in 1997 from the wreckage of the Portland math-rock institution Holgator, Bozart employs a host of odd time signatures.

In mid-1998, the band released its debut CD, Kurth, a selection of songs ranging from stripped-down metal to heart-wrenching guitar duets (and back again). Later that year, the fellows embarked on a three week tour of the West, delighting audience members whom Bozart refers to as "God's chosen."
