British Murder Boys

British Murder Boys is a techno duo formed by Karl O'Connor, known as Regis, and Anthony Child, who records as Surgeon. The UK-based project launched its first release in August 2014 through Downwards, the Birmingham label founded by O'Connor himself. Both members bring decades of experience from their individual careers in industrial techno and Birmingham's Second Wave scene.

The duo produces peak time driving techno alongside raw, deep, and hypnotic variations that reflect both artists' backgrounds in harder electronic music. Their releases exclusively appear on Downwards, maintaining a consistent aesthetic that bridges O'Connor's industrial approach with Child's surgical precision. British Murder Boys delivers high-energy tracks designed for peak hours, with their sound drawing from the uncompromising techno traditions both members helped establish in the UK underground scene. Their collaborative output spans six releases on Electrobuzz between 2014 and 2026, cementing their position within contemporary driving techno.
