Bushbaby

Bushbaby is the production alias of Harry Bushby, a Brighton-based producer and DJ who began his career in 1995. He operates as a key member of Brighton's bass collective Southpoint, which also serves as his primary record label. Since emerging in the underground scene around 2015, Bushby has established himself within Brighton's electronic music community, with his work gaining support from established artists including My Nu Leng, DJ Zinc, Chris Lorenzo, and Taiki & Nulight.

Bushbaby's sound spans multiple electronic genres, moving between UK Garage and bassline through to house, minimal deep tech, melodic house & techno, and tech house. His releases on Southpoint showcase what industry publications describe as "bassline bangers and broken bumpers," indicating a focus on bass-heavy, rhythmically complex productions. With eight documented releases between 2024 and 2025, his output demonstrates consistent activity within the UK's underground bass and house scenes, delivering tracks that bridge the gap between garage's syncopated rhythms and house music's four-on-the-floor foundation.
