bvdub

bvdub is Brock Van Wey, a producer from the San Francisco Bay Area who began creating music in 2006 after a decade-long involvement in the SF rave scene as a DJ and event promoter starting in 1991. Van Wey relocated to China in 2001, remaining there until 2015, and first released music in 2007 on Night Drive Music. He operates under multiple aliases including Earth House Hold and East Of Oceans, and maintains his own website and multiple Bandcamp pages for releases.

Van Wey produces ambient and electronica with forays into peak time driving techno, releasing material on Dronarivm and through self-releases since his first Electrobuzz appearance in December 2014. His discography spans both downtempo ambient works suitable for home listening and club-ready techno tracks, with releases continuing through September 2024. The bvdub project represents Van Wey's primary outlet for extended ambient compositions and atmospheric electronic music, contrasting with his more dance floor-oriented techno productions under his various aliases.
