Bwana

Bwana is the electronic music project of Nathan Micay, a producer and DJ from Toronto who began releasing music in 2014. Despite his Canadian origins, Micay operates from the UK and has established connections with several respected electronic music labels. His debut release appeared on Aus Music in December 2014, marking the start of a focused three-year period of output that concluded in April 2017.

Bwana's productions span deep house, tech house, and peak time techno, with excursions into minimal and deep tech territories. His releases have appeared on notable labels including Aus Music, LuckyMe, Cin Cin, and 17 Steps, with six total releases across this catalog. The music tends toward driving, peak-time energy levels suitable for club environments, while maintaining the deeper sensibilities associated with his house-oriented work.
