Calippo

Calippo is the project of Swiss DJ and producer Christian Beat Hirt, who began releasing music in 2012. Based in Switzerland, Hirt also operates under the aliases Christian Hirt, Paul Richmond, and Stone Canyon. He has released seven tracks through Enormous Tunes and its subsidiary label Enormous Chills over a twelve-year period spanning from 2012 to 2024.

Calippo's productions traverse multiple house music territories, moving between deep house, tech house, and minimal deep tech territories alongside dance and electro pop elements. His releases on Enormous Tunes and Enormous Chills demonstrate a range that encompasses both deeper, atmospheric house tracks and more accessible dance-oriented material. The project's output maintains consistent activity on these Swiss-based labels, with his most recent release appearing in August 2024, continuing more than a decade of steady production work.
