Carsten Jost

Carsten Jost, real name David Lieske, operates from Hamburg and co-founded Dial Records alongside Lawrence and Peter Kersten. The German producer began his recording career in 2011 with releases on his own Dial imprint, establishing himself as both artist and label curator within Hamburg's electronic music scene.

Jost produces deep house and minimal techno tracks that span mid-tempo grooves to peak-time driving techno, with occasional ventures into microhouse and tech house territories. His seven releases between 2011 and 2025 appear exclusively on Dial Records, demonstrating his commitment to the label's aesthetic of refined, cerebral electronic music.
