Celsius

Celsius is the alias of Swiss producer Neil Gaeggeler, who has been active in electronic music since the late 1990s. Gaeggeler ran his first label Virtual Pulse Records from 1997 to 2002, before founding Shaper. He also releases music under The Fall alias and initially gained recognition in the hardcore techno scene through his debut album on Paris-based Epileptik Records.

His current output as Celsius spans electro, deep house, and electronica, marking a significant evolution from his hardcore roots. Since 2014, he has released five records on Moodmusic, showcasing a more refined approach that incorporates classic Detroit electro elements alongside modern deep house sensibilities. His sound demonstrates versatility across tempo ranges, from the driving energy of electro to the more subdued groove of deep house productions.
