About
Centeno is the techno project of Francisco Centeno, a producer from Cordoba, Argentina who began releasing electronic music in August 2024. Despite his background as a recording studio bassist who worked with Motown's Ashford and Simpson production team from age fifteen, Centeno has shifted focus to techno production in recent years.
Centeno produces raw, deep, and hypnotic techno across labels including Merien Records, Dissident Music, dZb Records, and Xelima Records. His six releases since 2024 demonstrate a commitment to driving, hypnotic arrangements that emphasize repetitive groove structures and atmospheric depth. The music maintains the precision expected from his studio background while embracing the raw energy of contemporary techno production.
