Chez Damier, born Anthony Pearson on August 15, 1969 in Chicago, Illinois, operates as a solo artist who co-founded the influential Prescription Records label in 1993 alongside Ron Trent. Prior to establishing his own imprint, Pearson served as A&R man and studio manager at Kevin Saunderson's KMS Records from 1989 to 1992, later holding an A&R position at French electronic music label Distance in the mid-1990s. He also records under the aliases Noni, Ontoni, and Anthony Pearson, and runs his own Chez Damier label.

His sound spans house, deep house, tech house, minimal/deep tech, and afro house territories, with releases appearing on Armada Music, Adeen Records, Mojuba, and his own Chez Damier imprint since 2010.
