Chi Thanh

Chi Thanh, born Chi Thanh Nguyen, is a German DJ and producer based in Berlin who launched his electronic music career in 2013. He operates under several aliases including Taan "Dragon Man" Newjam, N. C. Thanh, and Sliteye, and runs his own imprint Stone Free Berlin, which he established in 2013. His Berlin-based Stone Free Studio serves as his production headquarters, and he is the father of DJ, vocalist and producer Joplyn.

Chi Thanh's sound spans deep house, tech house, and melodic house & techno, with forays into peak time driving techno that showcase his versatility across the underground dance music spectrum. His releases appear on respected labels including Diynamic, Off Recordings, Blaufield Music, and Subjekt Recordings, alongside his own Stone Free Berlin imprint. His productions typically favor deeper, more introspective tones in his house work while his techno output delivers the driving energy suited for peak time club sets, demonstrating his ability to craft music for both intimate listening and dancefloor moments.
