Chicola

Chicola is the production moniker of Israeli DJ and producer Chico Shuella, who operates from Tel Aviv. He began releasing electronic music in 2014, with his first track appearing on April 23rd of that year. Over his decade-long career, Shuella has maintained a prolific output with 20 releases across various labels in the electronic music scene.

His productions span multiple genres within the house and techno spectrum, ranging from deep house to peak time driving techno, with notable work in progressive house and melodic house & techno. Chicola releases music on respected labels including Lost & Found, Microcastle, Rusted Records, Tenampa Recordings, and Sudbeat Music. His sound incorporates both the deeper, atmospheric elements of progressive and melodic styles alongside the harder-hitting energy of peak time techno, making his catalog suitable for different moments in a DJ set from warm-up through prime time slots.
