Chinaski

Chinaski is a Czech pop-rock group formed in Prague in 1987, originally under the name Starý Hrady. The band consists of Michal Malátný on guitar and vocals, Lukáš Pavlík on drums, František Táborský on guitar and vocals, Tomi Okres on bass, and Jan Steinsdörfer on keyboards. The group has released music under the alias St. Hadry and has maintained an active presence in the Czech music scene for over three decades.

In electronic music, Chinaski produces deep house, tech house, and indie dance tracks, with releases spanning from 2015 to 2022 across seven different outputs. The project appears on respected labels including Uncanny Valley, Live At Robert Johnson, Running Back, Bordello A Parigi, and Dischi Autunno. Their electronic work incorporates downtempo and electronica elements alongside house music, suggesting a versatile approach that moves between dancefloor-focused tech house and more atmospheric deep house productions suitable for both peak-time and warm-up sets.
