Chris Liebing

Christopher Liebing is a German techno producer and DJ from Giessen who began his career in 1991 with a residency at Red Brick club near Frankfurt. Born in 1968, Liebing worked for Eye-Q Records in Frankfurt during the mid-1990s where he met Andre Walter and established his first studio. He operates under the alias Boog and founded his own imprint CLR, which has become a significant platform for his releases alongside his radio hosting work.

Liebing's sound spans peak time driving techno and raw hypnotic techno, with releases distributed across mute, novamute, KNTXT, and Stigmata labels since 2009. His productions range from hard-hitting schranz and hard techno to more refined melodic house and techno, maintaining the driving energy that defines his dancefloor-focused approach. The German producer has evolved from his early hard techno roots to incorporate electronica and tech house elements, with 47 catalogued releases demonstrating his consistent output and adaptation within the techno spectrum.
