There are… well… more than five artists using this name, because, let’s just face it–neither “Chris” nor “Murphy” is really all that uncommon a name. The first is the bassist/drummer/vocalist of the Canadian band Sloan. The second placed fourth on the 2006 season of Australian Idol, and was involved in Murphy’s Lore (with his younger brother, Courtney Murphy).
