Chromatic Filters

Chromatic Filters is an Italian duo consisting of Luca Sanna and Pierpaolo Sechi, based in London. The pair began releasing music in 2011, with their first track appearing on October 28 of that year. Sechi brings live performance experience as a bass and synthesizer player, while Sanna contributes a background in deep house. The duo has released eight tracks between 2011 and 2025.

Their sound draws from early 1980s New York disco, incorporating influences from Piero Piccioni soundtracks, cosmic boogie, Afrobeat, and Detroit techno. Chromatic Filters releases music exclusively on the Rebirth label, spanning genres including deep house, tech house, nu disco, and electronica. Their productions blend live instrumentation with electronic elements, creating tracks that range from the deeper end of house music to more upbeat disco-influenced material. The duo's approach combines Sechi's live musicianship with dance floor sensibilities rooted in classic house and disco traditions.
